David A. Boelter
David A. Boelter was named Executive Director of The Arc Fond du Lac and began his position on May 1, 2009. Mr. Boelter was selected from a pool of 50 candidates after a nationwide search. He replaced Stephen Kirschner who retired in January, 2009.
Previous to his appointment as Executive Director, Mr. Boelter held Senior Executive level positions with Fortune 500 healthcare companies Columbia/HCA, Gentiva Quality Care, and Vencor Rehab Corporation.
Now in his tenth year leading The Arc Fond du Lac, Mr. Boelter has ushered in an era of revitalization and growth with an emphasis on The Arc’s core values and mission. In 2013, he led The Arc’s first ever Capital Campaign that raised over $1.6 million. Four new group homes, a respite house and a complete renovation of The Arc’s administration and day services building at 500 N Park Ave. resulted from this campaign. In 2017, he raised $325,000 to expand the day services and youth area of the building by 3200 square feet, allowing The Arc to increase their capacity to serve clients by 25%.

Mr. Boelter resides in North Fond du Lac. He is an avid sports fan, passionate golfer, and a patron of the arts.
