Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are topics we are all cognizant of in today’s workplace. It’s no longer enough for a company or organization to simply release a statement on its stance against racism, sexism, ageism, etc. It’s not enough to write a check to your local philanthropic organization. Supporting DEI activities is no longer seen as solely an HR competency that’s discussed at annual HR conferences. Now, add transgender to the mix. Regardless of the conversation, we must be authentic in it.
Join The Arc Fond du Lac for a conscious-driven conversation about trans-awareness and other DEI topics with Dr. Elijah Nicholas. For the past 5 years, Dr. Elijah Nicholas has helped progressive enterprises increase their Trans Awareness, elevate company morale (which ultimately increases productivity) without forcing change on company culture or individual religious beliefs. He’s hosted radio shows, award galas, and appeared as a repeat guest commentator on Fatal Attraction, the number one show on its network, TV One!
This will take place on Thursday, June 1 at Moraine Park Technical College.
