Employee Appreciation!
This month, Jordan Wood, was nominated by her co-workers for a job well done!
Jordan recently started with The Arc in late 2023 as our Special Olympics Coordinator. Jordan was recognized by her co-workers for successful starting a new Special Olympics sport, cornhole! Jordan is always so engaging with the clients and finds a way for everyone to participate!
We appreciate Jordan and all she does for our clients and for The Arc Fond du Lac!
Arc Achievers!
Andrew started in 2011 at The Arc Fon du Lac, and has grown so much since! Andrew has always been the helper in the room. Andrew is a big support when role modeling the routine of the classroom and providing reminders when others may not be on track. Andrew’s first question when boarding the bus from school is who and what to expect each day that he arrives as he always likes to be prepared.
Andrew’s memory is impeccable, and he loves to sing for everyone. Andrew has gone from memorizing Nick At Nite from 8 years old to Gospel hymns now at 21. Any room that he is in, he brings such positive energy. Andrew is a very well-known individual in our community, and if you ever meet him, you will walk away smiling.
This is Andrew’s last year in the Youth Community Enrichment Program. Andrew is graduating high school in June. However, we know he is fully prepared because he is an active member in the Young Adult Room right from the start of transition into adulthood.
Congratulations to a bright young man who will always bring the world happiness in whatever he does. Reach for the stars Andrew, you are going to go far!
“Can I get an Amen!” – Andrew’s signature phrase.
