Meet Tristin Wals, he joined The Arc family this Spring working with our YCEP program.

Tristin has quickly embraced all The Arc Fond du Lac has to offer; after starting in our YCEP program, he jumped on the opportunity to expand his knowledge and work with our SLS department in our Adult Family Homes. When asked what some of his favorite things are working at The Arc, Tristin stated that he loves meeting new people, especially within the homes and youth. Tristin went on to say, “I really enjoy how The Arc doesn’t feel like work, it feels like a family!”

Tristin described working at The Arc as fulfilling, motivating, and important. He is excited to grow within The Arc and help in any department where he is needed. Tristin expressed that as he has started working with The Arc, he has found his purpose in life, and it makes him excited to come in every day.

Outside of The Arc, Tristin enjoys watching a variety of shows including Pro Wrestling, The Big Bang Theory, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh. On top of watching Pro Wrestling, Tristin also attends these events live. After work, Tristin enjoys watching YouTube and playing different video games on his Xbox.

The Arc is grateful for all Tristin has done with The Arc and is excited to see him grow with us!

Meet another member of The Arc Fond du Lac! He has been attending The Arc for 5 years now. Favorite parts about attending The Arc are hanging out
with his friends, playing games, attending the FDL County Fair for an outing, and helping with the coffee cart. Staff says that he is the best helper and is always willing to encourage others to learn new tasks.

He takes pride in his weekly job duties for the coffee cart and loves to stay busy by attending many outings and activities each month. He currently holds the treasurer position for the Opportunity Center Client Council and for the newly formed Aktion Club, which is part of the Kiwanis Club. With these positions, he continues to work on his money management skills.

We are so lucky to have him a part of our Arc family and we cannot wait to see what he does in the future!
