This month, Scott Wood, was nominated by his co-workers for a job well done!

Scott recently started with The Arc as a Driver in February 2024. Scott has jumped right in and has been helping wherever is needed.

Scott was recognized by his co-workers for assisting and transporting our Adult Day Services clients to their new favorite spot in Appleton for an outing at the Pawfee Shop Cat Cafe!

We appreciate Scott and all he does for our clients and for The Arc Fond du Lac!

Meet Jenny Zeman! She has been a member of The Arc family for 25 years! She started with the youth program and now is an active participant with our Special Olympics program.

Jenny is a regular participant in both bowling and swimming. While also being part of Wildcats, a basketball program that allows athletes to enhance their basketball skills.

Jenny brings a positive and bright energy to every practice, while always having a smile on her face. Jenny always leads by example, and it shows as others follow her lead. She consistently pushes herself to become better, whether that is bowling a higher score or swimming faster times each week. Jenny is currently preparing for the district and state meets for swimming; where she is competing in a team relay, freestyle, and backstroke.

When asked about what she enjoyed most about The Arc, she stated, attending the Christmas Dance alongside her friends every year. She is able to dance, mingle, eat, and have a great time, while also receiving a present from Santa at the end of the night.

Outside of all her activities at The Arc, Jenny enjoys spending time with family, especially her sisters. Going out to eat at her favorite restaurant, Pizza Ranch. She also enjoys riding horses at Rawhide, formally known as Free SPIRIT Riders, for the last 25 years. Jenny finds time to complete puzzles, crafts, and colors, while also watching comedy sitcoms including Modern Family and Everyone Loves Raymond.

The Arc is grateful that Jenny has been a part of the Arc Family and excited to see what other adventures she will take with us!
